SUMMARY:A Beginner’s Guide to Using Portfolio Manager for Benchmarking Law Compliance
DESCRIPTION:Are you a building owner who needs to comply with a mandatory benchmarking requirement? Do you have little or no experience using EPA’s Portfolio Manager tool? \nYou’ve come to the right place! This webinar will serve as a beginner’s guide to Portfolio Manager and provide you with all the essential “how-to” information you need to start benchmarking and reporting your building data to your local or state government. Topics covered will include understanding how state and local jurisdictions use EPA’s Portfolio Manager tool to facilitate reporting\, setting up your Portfolio Manager account and properties\, entering energy data\, and reporting or sharing data with your jurisdiction. \nNOTE: Each jurisdiction has different requirements for compliance. This webinar will not address requirements specific to any one local or state government\, but will present general information on how to use Portfolio Manager and report data in the ways most commonly required under these laws. \nAttend this webinar if you’re interested in:\n• How to comply with a state or local benchmarking ordinance\n• Getting started using Portfolio Manager\n• Requesting energy and water data from your utility\n• Getting assistance from an ENERGY STAR service and product provider company\n• Responding to a data request\n• Sharing your property with a local jurisdiction for reporting \nLevel: Beginner

SUMMARY:Lighting up Energy Savings with LED Upgrades
DESCRIPTION:Replacing lighting with efficient LEDs continues to result in substantial savings for commercial buildings. Join us to hear from three ENERGY STAR partners who have installed LED lighting and realized savings. Bimbo Bakeries will discuss their journey towards installing LED lighting in 80% of their bakeries\, with LED lighting installations planned for the remainder of the bakeries by 2020. The savings from lighting alone account for at least 15% of their electrical consumption. Food Lion will share how they completed a rollout of LED sales floor lighting by upgrading 163 stores. The savings from the 2019 installs is over 40.6 billion BTUs. Ozinga Bros\, Inc will discuss the lighting retrofits of five maintenance shops with LEDs. The combined projects will save $5\,500 per year\, and they were able to receive nearly $4\,000 in utility rebates. In addition to better energy efficiency\, the new lights make their shops brighter and safer. \nSpeakers: \n\nLeslie Adebayo\, Corporate Sustainability Manager\, Bimbo Bakeries\nSean Shropshire\, Specialist Energy Engineer\, Food Lion\nNathan Onchuck\, Energy Manager\, Ozinga Bros
