Energy Benchmarking Virtual Appointments

Sign up for a one-on-one with Technical Assistance Staff

The City of Seattle benchmarking help desk offers limited one-on-one appointments for building owners and managers needing support to complete the benchmarking compliance process. Use the scheduling tool to sign up for an appointment. **  25-minute virtual appointments are offered Monday through Thursday.

To serve equitably, customers are limited to one weekly appointment. Please note that you can also sign-up for our Tuesday weekly office hours or email questions to [email protected].

See below for common appointment types available.

  • Getting Started with Energy Benchmarking
Sign up for technical assistance to start the benchmarking compliance process. This virtual appointment is best for users new to the Seattle benchmarking process.

Prerequisites: To be prepared for the appointment, you must have a Portfolio Manager account already created and provide a list of all building addresses for the property you are benchmarking. You can sign up for a Portfolio Manager account here.

  • Enrolling in Seattle City Light Automated Data Exchange
Sign up for technical assistance to complete the enrollment process for Seattle City Light data exchange, verify SCL meters, troubleshoot meter errors or set-up in Portfolio Manager.

Prerequisites: To be prepared for the appointment, it is recommended (but not required) that you have submitted the SCL Consumption Request Form and have received your Authorization Credentials Form and Excel Meter List from SCL.  If you are unable to locate your documents, please contact [email protected]

  • Enrolling in Puget Sound Energy’s EnergyCAP Automated Data Exchange
Sign up for technical assistance to complete the enrollment process for Puget Sound Energy data exchange in EnergyCAP, verify gas meters are reporting correctly or troubleshoot meter errors or set-up in Portfolio Manager.

Prerequisites: To be prepared for the appointment, you must have an active EnergyCAP account set up. To register with EnergyCAP, fill out the registration form here.

  • Portfolio Manager Account Review
Schedule this appointment for an enhanced review of your ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account. If you were flagged for data verification, we can help review your building’s benchmarking report to identify errors such as incorrect building use details and energy meter set-up.

Prerequisites: To be prepared for the appointment, you must provide a list of property addresses (or OSE building ID#’s) and must already be enrolled in SCL automated services (as well as PSE and Enwave if applicable).  Please note, account review of multiple buildings may require follow-up appointments.
