South Seattle Community College professional development opportunity

Professional Communications Course Offered Fall 2019

  • Have you ever had a memo criticized by your management for not answering their questions?
  • Have you ever felt sick right before you had to present information about your work to a group or to your supervisor?

Now is the time to address those issues with the South Seattle College course targeted for the working facility management team member…offered this Fall 2019 in a hybrid online format (only TWO face-to-face Saturday meetings!). You can learn strategies and tactics to address these and other common concerns and get that promotion!

Professional Communications (SBST 431) will be taught by Victoria Hardy, RCFM and ASHRAE Associate.  Hardy has an undergraduate degree with majors in English, Speech and Theatre, and has successfully taught this course for five years.  She has also presented sessions at more than 20 World Workplace conferences, as well as at IFMA regional symposiums in Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston, and Las Vegas.

For more information about the course and enrollment, please email Hardy at [email protected].  Enrollment is limited and the class begins on September 28, so contact Hardy soon for details.

“I would never have been able to make the presentation to TESLA senior management and secure my new position if I had not taken the Prof Comm course!” ~Sustainable Building Science Technology (SBST) BAS 2018 Graduate
