Are you a commercial or industrial building owner, building operator, or controls contractor considering building controls upgrade projects in City Light’s territory? A major HVAC controls upgrade typically reduces electric consumption by 10%-15%. Ted Brown is an Energy Management Analyst Supervisor in Seattle City Light’s Customer Energy Solutions Division. He supervises a team of EMA’s responsible for delivering commercial energy efficiency projects for the utility. Ted has worked for City Light since 2008 in key customer and efficiency program management roles.

Ted is accredited as Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers. He holds of BA in Economics from the University of Cincinnati and has led facility optimization and utility energy efficiency programs for almost 20 years.

Elly brings 18 years of experience in energy efficiency, building science, and sustainability in the built environment, and specializes in improving existing building operational performance, translating technical topics to empower any audience, and managing projects and teams.

City light has created this excellent primer with more information on the incentives available to those building owners that are looking to save on their energy bills.
