As the holiday season approaches (and quickly passes us by!), please consider donating to the Smart Buildings Center Education Program.  Your tax deductible contribution will help the Education Program advance its mission to accelerate the adoption of smart buildings and technologies in the community.  One of the resources that the SBC offers is the use of common space through our conference and training rooms – free to the community, so if you have used our space for your meetings or events, please consider making a donation that will help the SBC continue to provide this type of resource to the industry.  If you are unable to make a donation at this time, your employer may be willing to help!

Double your donation!  With help from a generous donor, we have the opportunity to MATCH your donation – but this opportunity only lasts through December 7th.  So please don’t wait and click the button below to donate today!

Support Clean Energy – Vote Yes on I-1631

October 29, 2018 By SBC

Friends,

In this year’s election, we have the opportunity to not only add clean jobs to our state, but to also propel our building stock and infrastructure into the future through an annual fund for clean energy projects that is estimated to reach $1 Billion by 2021. That means $1 Billion each year for conservation, efficiency, electric vehicles, solar and other renewables—the technology and development needed to grow our state in a clean and healthy manner. We urge you to vote yes on this initiative and to publicly endorse I-1631.  And if you’d like to go a step further, the Yes on 1631 campaign could use your support to help get this passed:

  • Join a door knocking event near you.
  • Sign up for phone-banking or to text voters.
  • Send an email through Voter Circle to your Washington contacts.
  • Make a donation, which keeps the Yes on 1631 ads rolling.

Together we can enable a new and brighter future for efficiency. Thank you for your support!
